Overview

Market leader of the Labor, Employment and Human Rights Group for the Quebec City office, Sébastien Gobeil is recognized for his in-depth knowledge in labour relations and occupational health and safety. He focuses on issues related to grievance arbitration, the negotiation and interpretation of collective agreements, labour standards, psychological harassment and workplace accidents. He also acts in matters related to labour law.

Sébastien advises clients on a variety of employment-related topics, including terminations of employment, non-competition and confidentiality obligations, individual contracts of employment and occupational injuries. He appears on behalf of clients before arbitration boards, tribunals and the superior courts.

Sébastien has built a solid reputation in grievance arbitration, occupational health and safety and collective bargaining, and delivers seminars and presentations to various groups of employers.

He also offers training to employers in their workplace or during lunch seminars on many labour law topics, including psychological harassment, absenteeism management and last-chance agreements.
