Lu Chen is a Partner in Toronto’s Banking & Finance team and a member of the firm’s Asia Pacific Practice Group. Lu obtained master of laws degrees from both Canada and China.
Having worked in the legal profession for over 15 years, Lu has extensive experience in corporate lending transactions with an emphasis on syndicated and non-syndicated secured and unsecured lending, senior and subordinated debt financings, acquisition financings, and cross-border lending transactions. She regularly represents Canadian and foreign banks and financial institutions as well as borrowers in various business industries. Before joining Fasken, Lu was a member of the corporate team in another law firm where she was exposed to a broad range of corporate and commercial matters, including structuring and establishment of new businesses, mergers and acquisitions, corporate reorganizations and various contractual arrangements.
