Overview

Jasmin Marcotte is recognized as a leading lawyer in Canada in his area of practice, labour and employment law. He represents public and private sector employers subject to federal and provincial regulation, in particular from the manufacturing, industrial, hotel and food services industries and the education sector.

 

Jasmin provides advice on a myriad of employment issues, including employment contracts, labour standards, dismissals and severance pay, psychological harassment, absenteeism in the workplace and the application and interpretation of collective labour agreements.

Jasmin regularly appears before the courts and specialized boards in matters related to certification proceedings, the successor-employer proceedings and grievances under the collective agreement.       

His practice is multidisciplinary and he also acts in matters involving human rights and the protection of personal information.

Jasmin regularly delivers seminars and lectures on his areas of practice.
